Race Matters, Friends is holding a candidate forum on Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m. at the Columbia Public Library in the Friends Room. As a candidate on the August 2026 ballot Bill has invited to attend and looks forward to participating.

The League of Women Voters and the Columbia Public Library will host a Candidate Forum for candidates in the August 4^th Primary Election in contested races. Candidates will have time for a two-minute opening statement, questions from the LWV and the audience and time for a closing statement.

Tory Kassabaum & Tony Meyer host a gathering at the Flower Folk Community Garden for their friend Bill Ellis. It will be an opportunity to munch on a light breakfast, enjoy the natural beauty of the garden, and learn about our local courts. We will have fun giveaways for kids. All are welcome!

Mike & Bethany Campbell with Senator Stephen Webber will host an event at the Campbells' home to introduce their neighbors to their friend Bill Ellis and learn why he is running for Division 9 Associate Circuit Judge.

Raise your mimosa and join Bill in a toast to justice at a brunch hosted by Kate Canterbury at her home. Enjoy a relaxing morning with neighbors and learn about our Boone County courts from our candidate for Division 9 Associate Circuit Judge.

Join Bill for a morning of family fun at Perspective Farms--an Arabian Horse farm right along Highway 63. Meet, pet, and take pictures with the horses. Stroll around the farm with a lemonade. And meet our candidate!

José & Jessica Caldera with Kate & Bob Nolte will host an event at the Calderas' home to introduce their neighbors to their friend Bill Ellis. Come meet our candidate for Division 9 Associate Circuit Judge and enjoy time visiting with your central Columbia neighbors.

Jim & Tabby McCray will host a casual dinner at their place for Bill. It will be a chance to meet our candidate for Division 9 Associate Circuit Judge and spend a little time with our Northern Boone County neighbors. All are invited!
